Saturday Songs

This has been a very busy week, moderately unfortunately. Christmas is here and I'm hoping I have something for everyone that I want to give something to.  If not, I'll just say it's a late Christmas present or a New Year's present!  I'm going to go off my usual theme today though and share one of my overall Christmas songs versus a more religious Christmas song.

White Christmas
By Irving Berlin

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

Granted, with living in Alaska I always have a White Christmas, but part of the reason it's my favorite is the key in which it is usually sung, and also because of the person usually singing it, Bing Crosby.  I'll add my absolute favorite video of it here.  Anyways, may Christmas be a beautiful one wherever you may be, and may God bless you throughout your days.  And friend, if you don't know Him as your Saviour today, talk to someone you trust today.  Not only is Jesus' birth the reason we celebrate Chistmas and give gifts to friends and family, but He is the reason we are alive today.  Without Jesus' sacrifice, there would be no reason for living.  Jesus really is the reason for the season.  He gave the ultimate gift to us, what will we do with it this Christmas season and the rest of our lives?
